LOS ANGELES Matthew McConaughey was the center of attention as he was honored at the 28th American Cinematheque Award show. Wife Camila Alves stood by his side along with his parents to help celebrate McConaughey’s 21-year career. Attending the star- studded event was a who’s-who of co-stars. Jennifer Garner, Kate Hudson, Reese Witherspoon, Jessica Chastain, Michelle Monaghan and Anne Hathaway were all on hand to honor the Oscar winner. Shane West, Michelle Rodriguez and Nikki Reed were just some of the celebs attending Timberland’s 2014 Concert to help promote their new fall wear. Rodriguez did some time behind the turntable as guests were treated with a performance by Young the Giant. LONDON Female fans excitedly waited to be the first to inspect the new wax figure of Benedict Cumberbatch at Madame Tussauds’ in London. The film stars Eddie Redmayne as the famed theoretical physicist and Felicity Jones as his devoted wife. LOS ANGELES Power of the feminine kind was on display at Variety's Power of Women annual luncheon. The powerbrokers of Hollywood attending included honoree Jennifer Lopez who stunned in a red patterned mini-dress, Eva Longoria, Viola Davis, Reese Witherspoon, Jane Fonda, Lizzy Caplan, Allison Janney, Jessica Capshaw, Chrissy Teigen & Nikki Reed. Glitter and glamour highlighted the 2014 ALMA Awards. The awards show, which honors contributions by American Latinos in the entertainment world, brought out the stars including a very pregnant Zoe Saldana, Aubrey Plaza, Eva Longoria, Wilmer Valderrama, who got lucky with Gina Rodriguez & Andrea Navedo, Robert Rodriguez, Ana Ortiz and a very excited Terry Crews. Celebs enjoyed a day of sun and polo at the Fifth-Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic. The event, which raises money for the Will Rogers State Park, had no shortage of stars attending. "The Voice" USA Season 7 is all set to enter the most exciting stage of the show with the selected contestants going to the battle rounds next week. Coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams got two contestants each on Monday to fill their respective teams.
