Sunanda murder probe: SIT questions Tharoor again

New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): Congress leader and former Union Minister Shashi Tharoor is presently being questioned for the second time in connection with his wife, Sunanda Pushkar's murder. The interrogation round is underway at the SIT office in south Delhi's Vasant Vihar area. Tharoor's domestic help, Narain Singh, is also likely to be questioned by the SIT today. Last week, Sunanda Pushkar's son, Shiv Menon, was also interrogated by the Special Investigation Team (SIT). Last month, Tharoor was interrogated at the Vasant Vihar police station in South Delhi. The police had earlier in January said that based on available evidence, Sunanda Pushkar, 51, was poisoned. A case of murder was registered on January 6. New Delhi, Feb 12 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who met Delhi Chief Minister-designate Arvind Kejriwal Thursday, will not be attending the latter's oath taking ceremony on February 14. Kejriwal, who met Prime Minister Modi for about 15 minutes this morning and invited him to his swearing-in ceremony at the Ramlila Maidan, had met Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu and President Pranab Mukherjee on Wednesday. Kejriwal's party, AAP, made a clean sweep of the Delhi assembly polls yesterday, winning 67 of the 70 seats on offer and decimated rivals BJP and Congress. New Delhi, Feb 11 (ANI): Delhi CM-designate and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday met President Pranab Mukherjee at the Rashtrapati Bhawan. AAP leader Manish Sisodia was also present at the meeting. Sisodia said that the meeting was a courtesy call. He added that Kejriwal thanked Mukherjee for his guidance. He further said that the President gifted Kejriwal two books, namely, Constitution of India and Thoughts and reflections.
