Puri, July 27 (ANI): Urging Israel and Palestine to end the conflict and appealing for peace, world famous sand artist, Sudarsan Pattnaik, created a sand sculpture at Puri beach of Odisha. Pattnaik, who is India's fourth highest civilian award holder, created a five-feet high hand with 'Stop war' written on it and a pigeon holding 'a message of peace'. Bhubaneswar, July 19 (ANI): Famed sand artist, Sudarsan Pattnaik, created a sand sculpture at Puri Beach to show that the nation condemns the shooting of an airliner at Ukraine killing all 298 passengers on board. Pattnaik created the art with six tons of sand. The Boeing 777, on a flight from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, came down in the Donetsk region of Ukraine, near the Russian border, on Thursday (July 17). The plane crashed about 40 km (25 miles) from the border with Russia near the regional capital of Donetsk, an area that is a stronghold of rebels who have been fighting Ukrainian government forces and have brought down military aircraft.
