Helsinki, Oct 16 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee, during his official visit to Finland, has said that the Indian Diaspora has been widely accepted across the globe for their love, care, warmth and uniqueness. Mukherjee was addressing a meet of Indians living in Finland, where he arrived on Tuesday after completing his visit to Norway. He said with technological support, new approach, scientific temperament, rationality and new work culture, Indians have contributed for the development of all the nations where they have chosen to live and work. Meanwhile, Mukherjee also stressed on the economic development of the country. President Pranab Mukherjee arrives in Finland

Finland, Oct 15 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee arrived in Finland on a two-day official visit after completing his visit to Norway. He was received by Secretary of State Peter Stenlund at the airport in Helsinki. Mukherjee is accompanied by a high level delegation to Finland where he is expected to meet Finnish president, prime minister, foreign minister and the speaker. He will address a Business Seminar in Helsinki and attend an official lunch hosted by its Mayor. He will also visit 'Arktikum' museum, Arctic Science Centre, Rovaniemi and cross the Arctic Circle. Oslo, Oct 14 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee said that India is keen to expand scope of relationship with Norway. He was invited by King Harald Vth and Queen Sonja, at a gala dinner at the Royal Palace at Oslo after he was given a ceremonial guard of honour earlier in the day. Mukherjee arrived in Norway's capital Oslo on Sunday and was received by Mayor Harald Espelund of Ullensaker. He is the first ever Indian head of state to visit Norway who is expected to reach an agreement on nuclear safety measures and other fields like education, trade and earth science. He also invited investors and entrepreneurs to invest in India. Meanwhile, King Harald Vth congratulated India's children rights crusader Kailash Satyarthi for winning the Nobel Peace Prize along with Pakistan's teenage education activist, Malala Yousafzai.
