New Delhi, Nov 06 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee on Thursday hosted a special programme on the occasion of Guru Nanak's birthday at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Vice President Hamid Ansari along with other senior leaders attended the ceremony. People from the Sikh community chanted hymns and recited prayers and the audience joined in. Mukherjee also addressed the audience on the occasion. Mukherjee inaugurated a Summit on 'Livelihood Security: Realising the vision for 1.3 billion Indians' organised by the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM) in New Delhi. Speaking on the occasion, he presented an honest appraisal of issues concerning livelihood security and expected solutions that would guide policy makers.
