Shahrukh Khan promotes 'Happy New Year' in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, Oct 13 (ANI): Bollywood Actor Shahrukh Khan, accompanied by the rest of the starcast of his upcoming flick, 'Happy New Year', promoted it in Ahmedabad city of Gujarat with the promise of pure joy and fun. The film, produced under Khan and his wife Gauri's home banner, 'Red Chillies Entertainment', has been directed by the versatile director and choreographer, Farah Khan. Dubbing Farah Khan as a happy person and the film as a wholesome family entertainment, Khan said the viewer will be elated after watching the movie. Other than Shah Rukh Khan, the film has a stellar group cast of Deepika Padukone, along with actors Abhishek Bachchan, Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood, Sarah-Jane Dias and Jackie Shroff. Addressing the media during the promo of the film, Khan emphasised that it is the duty of the producer to impart all information regarding a particular film so that it becomes easier for the viewer to decide on the purchase of the ticket for the film. Mumbai, Sept 26 (ANI): Ketan Mehta's 'Rang Rasiya', starring Randeep Hooda and Nandana Sen had a musical music launch in Mumbai recently. The event saw live performances by singers Sonu Nigam, Kailash Kher, Sunidhi Chauhan, Roop Kumar Rathod, Rajeshwari Pathak and Anwarbhai, the king of Rajasthani folk music. Based on the book Raja Ravi Varma by Marathi author Ranjit Desai, the film chronicles the life of India's famous painter Raja Ravi Varma. The film is being released after six long years because of its controversial subject. The movie also features Nandana Sen, Vipin Sharma and Paresh Rawal. Produced by Deepa Sahi and Aanand Mehendroo, Rang Rasiya will hit the theaters on November 7. Sep 26, 2014
