He also expressed his commitment towards a child-labour free India. Prime Minister Modi also shared with Satyarthi his views on the use of social media and internet for tracking missing children. Kullu, Oct 06 (ANI): Devotees in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh thronged the streets to celebrate the centuries- old, week long Hindu festival, Kullu Dussehra with the royal family of the place. Hundreds of devotees led by the head of the former royal family participated in the week- long festival. During the festival, idols of the various Gods and Goddesses of the valley are brought out from respective temples in full public view. The festival, which symbolises the triumph of good over evil, is marked by prayers, processions and musical programmes. The week-long Kullu Dussehra festival ends with the sacrifice of a buffalo, a rooster, a lamb, a fish and a crab. Hospital authorities remain apathetic to stampede victims in Patna

Patna, Oct 04 (ANI): Hospital authorities on Saturday were apathetic to the people who are looking for their family members in wake of a stampede that claimed more than 30 lives in Patna. At least 33 people were killed and over 100 injured in a stampede during Dussehra festival celebrations in Patna on Friday, most of them women and a few children. A huge crowd had gathered at an outdoor venue for the burning of effigies of demon king Ravana and his brothers as a part of the Dussehra festival. The stampede happened as people were leaving at the end of the event. On Saturday, the distraught victims could not enter the hospital mortuary to recognize the dead bodies of their family members as gate remained closed due to absence of the concerned person. The manager of the temple, Tirloki Triwedi said on Friday that the doors of the Dashanan Temple in the town are opened once in a year on the day of Dussehra. Meanwhile, in Varanasi, artists from Kolkata performed traditional form of center stage play for the residents. RSS observes Dussehra festivities with worship of weapons, cadres' parade in Haryana

Gurgaon, Sep 28 (ANI): Cadres of the RSS, observed Dussehra festivities in Gurgaon city in Haryana, by performing the ancient Indian ritual of worshipping weapons (Shastra Puja) and holding a cadets' parade to show its preparedness to gain victory over evil, which is the symbol of the festival. On Sunday, RSS cadres attired in their khaki short pants, white shirts and black caps, performed drills holding sticks and also took part in a parade to mark the day. A cadet, Prabhat Sharma, said that more than 200 activists were present on this occasion of weapon worship in Gurgaon.
