Bengaluru/ New Delhi, Dec 29 (ANI): Following IED blast in Bengaluru which claimed one life and injured three others, police started investigation in he case. Karnataka Home Minister termed the incident as 'terror attack' and appealed the people not to panic. City Deputy Commissioner of Police Sandeep Patil said that forensic team investigated the area and the police teams will go through the CCTV footage for more details. Meanwhile, Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah conevened a high level meeting with top police officials to review situation post the blast. The meeting is aimed at discussing the further course of the probe. Three killed, four injured in IED blast in Imphal

Imphal, Dec 21 (ANI): Three persons were killed and four were injured near bus depot in Khuyathong area of Imphal on Sunday morning after an IED blast. Four people are injured and one person's condition is critical. Immediately after the blast, police officials and forensic experts rushed at the spot to investigate the incident. Police said the IED planted by the roadside near Imphal market exploded killing three labourers and injuring four others. The injured have been rushed to the nearby RIMS hospital. All the dead and injured are all non-local migrant labors, including one from Nagaland. Further details are awaited. Dec 21, 2014

2002 hit-and-run case: Salman's blood alcohol content high, confirms expert

Mumbai, Dec 03 (ANI): Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is facing trial for killing a pavement dweller and injuring four others in a 2002 hit and run case, has tested positive for alcohol content in his blood at the time of accident. A forensic expert told a sessions court in Mumbai on Wednesday that content of alcohol in Salman's blood was higher than permissible limit. The alcohol content in Salman's blood was 62mg, which is more than double the permissible limit of 30mg. Salman is on trial in the sessions court for culpable homicide not amounting to murder. Badaun Case: CBI reportedly says girls committed suicide

New Delhi/ Badaun, Nov 27 (ANI): After a five-month probe in the infamous Badaun case, the CBI has reportedly claimed that the two teenage sisters had allegedly committed suicide, putting to rest all speculation that the duo was gang-raped and murdered. The Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics, which conducted the forensic analysis, had already ruled out sexual assault on the victims. All five suspects already passed lie-detection and psychological tests done by the forensic experts. Meanwhile the Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women Barkha Shukla Singh said that the CBI should revisit reports and culprits must be punished. The incident had come to light on May 28 when the bodies of two cousins - aged 14 and 15 years old - were found hanging from a tree in a village in UP's Badaun district, sparking a nation-wide outrage.
