BJP MLA calls for 'Love Jihad' Mahapanchayat, Politicos React

New Delhi, Sep 08 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday react as BJP MLA Sangeet Singh Som has called for a Mahapanchayat in Uttar Pradesh to protest against Love Jihad. BJP leader Sambit Patra welcoming the MLA's step said that there is lawlessness in Uttar Pradesh and the BJP leaders are trying to solve the local problem in a local manner and creating awareness among the people against the same. Congress leader Manish Tewari said that such an act is very unfortunate and that the government of Uttar Pradesh needs to take action against such people and BJP needs to account for its MLAs. RSS magazine article on 'Love Jihad' receives political reactions

New Delhi/Lucknow/ Nagpur, Seo 06 (ANI): Politicos on Saturday reacted to the controversial publication of love jihad related content in two of the RSS magazines. 'Love jihad' refers to Hindu girls being allegedly converted to Islam after a love marriage. Two RSS magazines have published forceful conversion of Hindu women related content on their front covers. While one cover says "Is love blind or is it business?" the other reads "Love Jihad, reality or rhetoric?" NCP leader Tariq Anwar said that the agenda of RSS is to create terror in the country.
