Former cricketer voices optimism ahead of soccer league

Kolkata, Sep 28 (ANI): Former cricketer Saurav Ganguly on Sunday voiced optimism about his soccer team's performance ahead of Indian Super League. 'Atletico de Kolkata' co-owned by Ganguly has a strategic tie-up with Atletico de Madrid, the current Spanish La Liga champions. The Indian Super League is slated to kick off on October 12. Ganguly on Sunday told reporters in Kolkata city, where the players of 'Atletico de Kolkata' were being introduced, that he is aggressively looking forward to the performance of his football team in the upcoming matches. Eight teams which include Atletico de Kolkata, Chennaiyin FC, Delhi Dynamos FC, FC Goa, FC Pune City, Kerala Blasters FC, Mumbai City FC and North East United FC (NEUFC) will play for the Indian Super League glory.
