New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Controversy was sparked after Chhattisgarh Health Minister Amar Aggarwal said that tobacco ban in the state is a good step but the factories run by him or his relatives should not be shut. Congress leaders Rashid Alvi and Manish Tewari said that everyone should be treated equally before law and action should be taken against the Health Minister. NCP leaders Majid Memon and Tariq Anwar said that this cannot be possibly be executed that factories keep running and products not sold so the state government should take prompt action in the case. Varanasi to soon turn into a smart city

Varanasi, Nov 29 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi's parliamentary constituency Varanasi is drawing close to turn into a smart city, as urban development ministry laid out the plan of the ambitious project. Modi, who was elected in May to represent the 3,000-year-old riverside city of Varanasi, has taken personal responsibility to upgrade the holy city into India's one of the first smart cities. The organizers and businessmen who will be the part of the project were present at the 'seminar on intelligent cities'. Urban Development ministry Secretary, Shankar Aggarwal interacted with the people and officials involved with the ambitious project. Aggarwal said a smart city may have diverse significance for different groups belonging to various fields.
