Militant attack injures one policeman in J&K's Anantnag

Anantnag, April 08 (ANI): A policeman was injured in Anantnag town of Jammu and Kashmir after militants opened fire on Tuesday. After the attack, the militants ran away with his rifle. The injured was later shifted to a nearby hospital. An alert has been sounded in the area to track down the assailants. This tulip garden attracts lakhs of tourists every year especially during the tourist season. Director of Floriculture Department, Sunil Mishri explained how the vast garden is taken care of and the number of tourists that are to be expected. Large number of people thronged the garden which is located at the foot of captivating Zabarwan hills to witness the blooming tulips. Visitors were mesmerized by the beauty of flowers. Militant hideout busted in J&K, cache of arms & ammunitions recovered

Baramulla, March 30 (ANI): Paramilitary forces on Sunday busted a militant’s hideout in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir ahead of upcoming general election. A huge cache of arms and ammunitions were recovered from the hideout during a joint operation by Rashtriya Rifles and Police in Tangmula forest of Baramulla district. Following this the security had been beefed up in the valley.
