India, Bangladesh demarcate disputed border

Agartala, Feb 21 (ANI): India, Bangladesh officials demarcated the disputed border in Tripura after four days of meticulous work and expressed satisfaction. The teams from both the countries visited the bordering areas of Kashba, Kaiyardepha and Akhaura and located 250 new subsidiary border pillars, which have been newly constructed. The demarcation would help guards in manning the border, expedite various construction activities such as fencing and lighting and making of water pump houses. Director General of Bangladesh Department of Land Record and Survey (DLRS), Mohammed Abdul Mannan, said that his team had carried out the mandate given by two governments. Director of Survey of India, N R Biswal, said that confusion over land ownership would end after the demarcation. Feb 21, 2014

Political parties condemn BJP over its poll expenses

New Delhi, Feb 20 (ANI): Reacting on BJP’s poll campaigning expenses amounting to Rs. 400 crore, political parties condemned the same and said that the public will decide on the party’s fortune. AAP leader Manish Sisodia said that it is still doubtful that the expenses were just Rs. 400 crore, in the backdrop of choppers used and huge stages made for Narendra Modi. CPI leader D Raja said that the party needs to answer on the same. Description: Red bean pulav Ingredients Red bean coooked - 200gms Basmati rice - 400gms Chopped tomatoes - 2 Chopped onions - 3 Green chilies - 2 Coconut milk - half cup Tomato puree - half cup Ghee Ginger- garlic paste -1.5 tsp Chili powder Coriander powder Salt to taste Cinnamon Cloves Cardamom Bay leaves Water Method 1. Pressure cook red beans and keep them separately in a bowl. 2. Pour about 1 tsp ghee in a pressure cooker. 3. Add cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, bay leaves, onions and green chilies to it. 4. Add ginger-garlic paste only after the onion becomes golden brown in color. 5. Now add tomatoes, tomato puree, cooked beans, salt, chili powder, coriander powder, coconut milk and basmati rice. (For 2 cups of rice, add 2 cups of water) 6. Pressure cook the above ingredients for about 1-2 whistle. Your red bean pulav is ready to serve.
