Although it has been more than 11 days since the last snowfall in Kashmir valley, but the locals are still facing hardships caused post snowfall. The authorities in Shopian district which received some 4 feet of snow cleared the roads for vehicular movement but during the process, they dumped the snow on the roadsides which is now causing heavy traffic jams and inconvenience to the commuters. Many houses got damaged due to flash flood in the canal of Upper Sindh power project Phase-II in New Colony Gund in Ganderbal district of Kashmir Valley.
