Morocco: Protests erupt after fishmonger is crushed in garbage truck

Protest have erupted after 31-year-old fishmonger Mouhcine Fikri was crushed by a garbage truck while trying to retrieve produce that the police seized from him. Fikri was in possession on 500kg of swordfish which is protected at this time of year. Protesters joined his funeral march to show solidarity against police brutality. Oct 31, 2016

A deal brokered by 24 countries to allow the creation of a massive 600,000 sq mile marine sanctuary in the Antarctic ocean. The sanctuary will cover more than 12% of the Southern Ocean, which is home to more than 10,000 species including most of the worlds penguins, whales, seabirds, colossal squid and Antarctic tooth fish.
