Rescuers continue search operation for missing students in Mandi

Mandi, June 10 (ANI): Teams of National Disaster Response Force, Indian Army and armed border force continued their search operations on Tuesday (June 10) for missing students who were swept away by gushing waters of Beas river following the discharge of water from a dam in Himachal Pradesh. Sub-Divisional Officer of Mandi and rescue team coordinator, D.R. Dhiman, said the rescue and relief operations are underway and to speedup the process the dam water level has also been reduced. First step cook the boneless Mutton with Turmeric powder, Ginger & garlic paste, Chilli powder, Onion, Salt, Water & pressure cook it for 5 to 6 whistles. 2. Second step cook the raw Mango with Chilli powder, Salt, Water mix it, close the pan let it cook for 5 minutes. 3. Final step in a wide pan add oil, Cinnamon, Cloves, Cardamom, Onion, Green chilli, Green chilli & saute it until the onion turns brown color. 4. Once onion turned brown add the cooked mutton, let the gravy thicken. 5. Add Mango to the mutton gravy, check for seasoning & add salt. Once gravy is thickened turn off the stove & serve it. Hyderabad, June 10 (ANI): The bodies of four of the 24 students swept away on Sunday in a sudden surge of water released from a dam in Himachal Pradesh, arrived in Hyderabad city airport on Monday night. TDP leader Prathipati Pulla Rao said that the party leaders have spoken to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and will provide moral support to the parents. Rao added that four bodies have arrived at the airport and the bodies will be handed over to the parents immediately. Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana, Md. Mahmood Ali called the incident unfortunate and added that the Telangana Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy and government officials along with a police team left for Himachal Pradesh to review the situation. Virbhadra Singh orders probe after students go missing

Shimla/ New Delhi/ Hyderabad, June 09 (ANI): Himachal Pradesh CM, Virbhadra Singh, on Monday ordered probe against the authorities for releasing water from a dam without issuing a warning which swept away 24 students. The engineering students of a private college, VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology of Hyderabad went missing on Sunday when they were standing on the bank of Beas river near Thalot on Manali-Kiratpur Highway to click photographs. The water of the river suddenly increased following its release from the reservoir of 126 MW Larji hydropower project. Teams of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) were rushed to the spot to help with rescue operations. Jun 9, 2014
