Nagpur, Oct 15 (ANI): After the Samajwadi Party banned the VHP 'Sankalp Diwas' yatra scheduled to be held on October 18, RSS senior leader MG Vaidya said that the yatra is banned in order to secure Muslim vote bank which the SP is fearing to lose on grounds of Muzaffarnagar violence. He further said that the yatra wouldn't have done anything wrong but would have got popularity, but he is not surprised with the move as this is SP's politics. Oct 15, 2013

New Delhi, Oct 14 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 95.17 points up to stand at 20,623.76. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 16.50 points up to stand at 6112.70. Karnataka Bank and South Indian Bank were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 16.22% and 10.10% along with Mangalore Refinery And Petrochemicals Ltd. and Syndicate Bank with an increase of 7.42% and 6.39% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include Wockhardt and Hindalco Industries with a decrease of 4.99% and 3.24% along with Asian Paints and Power Finance with a decrease of 2.85% and 2.81% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 69.11 points at 12,028.57 while the banking sector is up 71.09 points at 12,158.62 and the realty sector is down 3.45 points at 1,351.02. Lucknow, Oct 14 (ANI): Talking about the suspensions that came as aftermath of Ram temple letter by the party, BJP leader Kalraj Mishra said that the Samajwadi Party tried to do politics over the issue in order to hide the Muzaffarnagar violence stain on them, but it adversely fell over them. Earlier, UP government transferred Home Secretary Sarvesh Chandra Mishra and suspended another official, Prem Kumar Pandey over the controversies on a letter asking for "reconstruction" of the Ram temple at Ayodhya.
