New Delhi, June 23 (ANI): Political leaders on Monday reacted as the Swiss government prepares to share names of Indians who have stashed untaxed money in the banks in Switzerland. The names of certain Indian individuals and entities came under the scanner of the Swiss authorities during an ongoing exercise to identify the real beneficiary owners of funds held in various banks operating in Switzerland. The list of such persons and entities is being shared with India, while further details would also be provided in due course and all necessary administrative assistance would be made available as well. CPMT exam cancelled in UP after paper leak

Lucknow, June 22 (ANI): The Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre-Medical test (CPMT) exam was cancelled on Sunday after the examination paper for entrance to medical colleges in the state was found to have been leaked in Ghaziabad. The case came to light after the officials found tampering with the boxes in which the examination papers were kept in Allahabad Bank and State Bank of India. The District Magistrate reached the spot to examine the boxes and then informed the administration after which orders were issued to cancel the examination. Over one lakh student were due to appear for the exam which will now be held on July 20. Jun 22, 2014

Greenpeace India denies receiving government notice on foreign funding

New Delhi/ Tamil Nadu, June 20 (ANI): Executive director Greenpeace-India, Samit Aich denied media reports that the central government had served notice to it on its foreign funding. India has asked the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to tighten controls on moving funds from abroad into Greenpeace's accounts. The government has asked the RBI to obtain its permission before releasing funding from Netherlands-based Greenpeace International and the US-based Climate Works Foundation, both contributors to Greenpeace India. Greenpeace India receives about 60 percent of its funding from donors in India and about 38 percent from Greenpeace International. Jun 20, 2014
