116 workers freed from Iraq arrive in India

New Delhi, July 07 (ANI): 116 Indian workers who were till now caught up in the war torn Iraq arrived home on Monday, while many others are still being held captive by the suspected militants. Indian workers were greeted with garlands and were offered water and juices at the airport in New Delhi. Chief coordinator of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara management committee, international affairs, Puneet Singh Chadha, said adequate arrangements were being made to send the workers back to their hometowns. Meanwhile, a freed Indian worker, who was abducted in Iraq, Arjun recalling his ordeal said the Indian embassy in Iraq was of no help. Jul 7, 2014

Heavy rainfall damages road connectivity, isolates Tripura from rest of India

Agartala, July 05 (ANI): Tripura has been cut-off from the rest of the country as a large portion of the road connecting the state to the National Highway has been damaged due to heavy rains. Vehicular movement remained perturbed on National Highway 44 with the formation of big ditches and more than two thousand loaded trucks and passengers vehicles were stranded on both sides of the highway. Truck and taxi drivers who were stranded without food and water complained that the concerned authorities responsible were not taking any step to solve the problem.They also alleged that a section of police and locals are making money by pulling the vehicles out of the mud with the help of bulldozers in exchange of a handsome amount. Meanwhile, Superintendent Engineer of Tripura Public Works Department (PWD), Alak Chakraborty, visited the spots and took note of the situation. Jul 5, 2014

Egg Pakora Ingredients Boiled Eggs - 5 cut into pieces Besan (Gram Flour) - 1 cup Onion - 1 finely chopped A piece of Ginger finely chopped Green chilli - 1 chopped Salt to taste Chilli powder - 1 tsp Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp A few Curry leaves A few Coriander leaves Water Oil for frying Method: 1. In a bowl add Besan flour, Green chilli, Onion, Coriander leaves, Ginger, Curry leaves, Salt, Chilli powder, Turmeric powder, Water & mix it well to become a batter consistency. 2.
