Jammu and Kashmir, Oct 8 (ANI): One civilian has lost his life while six others are injured as the Pakistan rangers target civilian habitations in Jammu and Kashmir. Thousands of people living on the international border have also stated to migrate to safer place as the Pakistan rangers last night again resorted to unprovoked mortar shelling and heavy firing on the BSF posts.According to BSF, over 50 BSF posts and nearly 30 border villages were affected by the fire from Pakistan side that restored at 8.30 pm last night. As the firing at some places in Arnia still continues, our forces have been retaliating and BSF troops at all the places are giving befitted reply to the fire from Pakistan. Director General of paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF), DK Pathak said that Pakistan forces fired at 40 Indian army posts early on Tuesday. The two sides have been trading fire and counter-accusations since the violence erupted last week. Meanwhile, people living along the de-facto border were living in fear due to continuous firing. Pakistan's foreign ministry said it had lodged a protest with Indian diplomats over the killings of its civilians. Mumbai/ New Delhi, Oct 07 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday condemned continued ceasefire violations by Pakistan along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan forces fired at 40 Indian army posts early on Tuesday, said a police official. Indian forces also retaliated with gunfire and mortar bombs. NCP leader Majid Memon hit out at Home Minister Rajnath Singh saying his words did not match action. Singh had earlier said that Pakistan needs to learn that the newly elected Indian government will take a more aggressive approach if it comes under attack on the border. Flora, Oct 07 (ANI): Unprovoked firing by Pakistani rangers on Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) left at least one child injured in the Flora village of Jammu and Kashmir. At around 9 PM Monday, border posts of BSF were fired upon by the Rangers, to which the Force retorted. A ten year old boy, Ankush, from Flora village in Arnia sector of Kashmir, sustained injuries while a cow and a goat were killed in the firing. The unprovoked firing has damaged people's houses, forcing the hapless residents to flee their homes and look for safer places.
