At least 12 pilgrims killed in road accident in Aurangabad

Aurangabad, July 29 (ANI): At least 12 pilgrims, five of them women, were killed and 22 others injured when a speeding container ran over them on the New Delhi-Kolkata National Highway in Bihar's Aurangabad district on Tuesday. The heavy vehicle lost control and ran over the devotees sleeping by the side of the road. After running over the victims, it hit a parked bus in which some other devotees were resting. The Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Bhim Kumar, said pilgrims were returning from Deoghar after offering the holy water. The injured have been admitted to Sadar Hospital with some of the seriously injured rushed to Magadh Medical College and Hospital in Gaya. Jul 29, 2014

Once the Khoya is evenly mixed, add whole cashew nuts, flaked almonds, chironji and some sugar. 4. Cook the mixture in such a way that there is no water content left in the capsicum. 5. Once the Halwa is ready, add cardamom powder. 6. After a point of time, you will that the halwa has thicken. This will prove that the halwa is ready. 7. Garnish it with some flaked almonds, chironji, cashew nuts and some freshly grated coconut. Ujjain/ Varanasi, June 28 (ANI): Thousands of devout Hindus thronged Lord Shiva temples across India to offer special prayers in celebration of the auspicious third Monday of the month- long 'Sawan '(Monsoon) festival. Fire officials rescue 28 people stranded due to flood in Gujarat

Vadodara, July 27 (ANI): Fire officials in Gujarat state rescued 28 people, who were stranded near a flood-hit area along the banks of Vishwamitri River in Vadodara city. Due to heavy rains pounding the city since Friday evening, the water from Ajwa reservoir was released to the river, which has now flooded. Officials of Vadodara Municipal Corporation called fire officials as soon as they received information of stranded people.
