RBI Governor speaks on inflation and Iraq Crisis

New Delhi, June 17 (ANI): Governor of Reserve Bank of India Raghuram Rajan on Tuesday spoke over inflation and crisis in Iraq. Rajan said that the RBI will focus on taming inflation which has become the problem of common man. BSE closes points 37.69 down on June 16

New Delhi, June 16 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 37.69 points down to stand at 25,190.48. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 8.55 points down to stand at 7,533.55. MCX and Dish TV India were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 5.49% and 5.37% along with Strides Arcolab Ltd. and Reliance Capital Ltd with an increase of 4.97% and 4.49% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include JPINFRATEC and Suzlon Energy with a decrease of 5.65 % and 4.90% along with Federal Bank and Oriental Bank with a decrease of 3.34 % and 3.25 % at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is down 163.24 points at 15,031.83 while the banking sector is down 89.28 points at 17,220.59 and the realty sector is up 34.00 points at 2,028.75. Himachal Pradesh tragedy survivors blame laxity of safety measures as cause of deaths

Mandi/ Hyderabad, June 13 (ANI): Survivors of the Himachal Pradesh river tragedy which swept away 24 students blamed negligence of safety measures at the site Beas River as the cause of deaths. The survivors said besides the college authorities, state tourism department were also responsible for lack of caution signs at the site. Meanwhile, two more bodies were recovered on Thursday and were flown to their home town. Rescuers stepped up search operations for the missing students of the engineering college who were swept away by water released from a dam while the group was taking photographs at the river bank near Thalot on Manali-Kiratpur Highway in Himachal Pradesh Jun 13, 2014
