New Delhi, Feb 22 (ANI): The star cast of upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy 'Badmashiyaan' promoted their film in Mumbai recently. The film features newbie’s, including Suzanna Mukherjee, Karan Mehra, Gunjan Malhotra and Sidhant Gupta. 'Badmashiyaan' chronicles the life of a girl, portrayed by Mukherjee, whose dream is to marry a rich man and how every time she dates a new guy only to find out that he is actually not rich. Mehra, Gupta and Hashmi portray characters of men who fall in love with Mukherjee's character, only to be ditched later as they are not rich enough. Directed by Amit Khanna, the film is scheduled for a 27 February release. Feb 22, 2015

President Mukherjee hosts banquet for his Sri Lankan counterpart

New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): President Pranab Mukherjee hosted a banquet for his Sri Lankan counterpart, Maithripala Sirisena in New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his predecessor Manmohan Singh and other senior leaders attended the event in the presidential palace, Rashtrapati Bhawan. The two neighbours had signed a nuclear energy agreement earlier. This deal is India's first breakthrough with the new government of the tiny Indian Ocean island where China has been building ports and highways in a diplomatic push in recent years. Under the deal, India will help Sri Lanka build its nuclear energy infrastructure, including training of personnel, the Indian foreign ministry said. Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena pays tribute at Rajghat

New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena on Monday reached Raj Ghat and laid wreath at the Mahatma Gandhi memorial. Reportedly, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will call on him at his hotel, ITC Maurya, after which he is slated to hold talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Hyderabad House. Sirisena is also likely to meet President Pranab Mukherjee in the evening, which is to be followed by a presidential dinner in his honour at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Earlier in the day, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena had arrived in India on his first state visit abroad, as a part of efforts to repair relations with New Delhi which soured under the previous government. Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena gets ceremonial reception at Rashtrapati Bhawan

New Delhi, Feb 16 (ANI): Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena got a ceremonial reception on Monday at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi as he begins his first state visit after assuming office last month. Sirisena arrived in India on Sunday evening for a four day trip. On his arrival at the Rashtrapati Bhawan, he was welcomed by President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sirisena walked along the red carpet as military bands played music. Srisena, who is accompanied by his wife, Jayanthi Pushpa Kumari, met delegates after his ceremonial reception.
