LONDON The BFI London Film Festival continued to shine a light on a crop of new films. LOS ANGELES HGTV’s own Matt Blashaw lent a hand as DIRECTV & Scripps Networks partnered with U.S.VETS, an organization providing housing & employment for returning veterans. Blashaw & volunteers worked to rehabilitate rooms used by former servicemen & women. NEW YORK Past & present Superhero’s visited Good Morning America as former Batman and current ‘Birdman’ Michael Keaton thrilled autograph seekers while Wolverine himself, Hugh Jackman gave a wave and thumbs up to fans. Cyclone Hudhud intensifies with heavy rains and wind at Vishakhapatnam coast

Visakhapatnam, Oct 12 (ANI): Heavy rains and wind intensified as cyclonic storm Hudhud grew in sheer force in Bay of Bengal, uprooting trees and threatening to devastate farmlands as it is about to make landfall in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Around 150,000 people have been evacuated in Andhra Pradesh to high-rise buildings, shelters and relief centres. Authorities have been stocking cyclone shelters with dry rations, water purification tablets and generators. They have opened up 24-hour emergency control rooms and dispatched satellite phones to officials in charge of vulnerable districts. Meanwhile, passengers were stuck in the bus stops for bus services have been halted due to heavy rainfall. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) rated Hudhud as a very severe cyclonic storm that could pack gusts of 195 km/h and dump more than 24.5 cm of rain when it makes landfall. Oct 12, 2014
