Mud rally to promote safe driving thrills Bike lovers in Bhopal

Bhopal, Sep 21 (ANI): Wheels smoked, brakes screeched, engines thundered and the crowd roared on Sunday (September 21) as some of the best bikers passed through the mud water obstacle during the Mud Challenge Bike Rally in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh. More than 70 bikers from across the country participated in the rally the theme of which was safe driving. The race was organised in three categories beginners, expert and open riders. Hundreds of spectators gathered to witness the gruelling rally and to cheer the dare devil rally riders. A participant, Syed Azam, said that mud bike rally is a tough competition as the participant faces many hurdles to pass through the muddy track. Three die after falling in cesspool in UP

Moradabad, Sep 21 (ANI): A couple along with their rescuer died as sewer water washed them away after they fell into a cesspool in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. The couple landed in trouble as their bike fell into an under construction slurry sewer pit filled with rain water. A resident, Amit Kumar said on Sunday that a construction company had left the pit open, which had become large due to heavy rains. Rescue operation is underway to recover the bodies from the slurry pit. Residents were quizzed by police officials while ambulance service has been put in action. Sep 21, 2014

Crocodile killed in Gujarat after it leaves one dead

Vadodara, Sep 221 (ANI): Residents in Vadodara killed a crocodile after it attacked and left one man dead. The crocodile was killed at Shihor village in Vadodara district after it fatally attacked a 55-year-old man, who was grazing cattle on the banks of the Vishwamitri River. As reported, on learning about the man’s death, the villagers rushed to the spot and attacked the crocodile with sticks. Founder of Gujarat Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (GSPCA), Snehal Bhatt said that killing an animal is wrong people should have informed the forest guards who could have captured it. Reportedly, earlier this month, as water levels receded in Vishwamitri River, three crocodiles were captured in Vadodara. The forest officials rushed to the spot to rescue the reptiles and release them in safe areas. Sep 21, 2014

Srinagar, Sep 21 (ANI): The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) team launched advanced medical services to expedite rescue and relief operations in flood-ravaged Jammu and Kashmir. An ambulance equipped with several advanced emergency medical facilities and vehicles were launched. These facilities will be used in inaccessible areas where patients are stuck and face difficulties in reaching out for health care. Meanwhile, a medical camp was set up in the summer capital of Srinagar where hundreds of flood victims received varied medical services. Men, women, children and the elderly stood in queues for check-ups and treatment besides receiving emergency medicines. Coconut Poli Ingredients For Dough All purpose flour - 1 cup A pinch of Salt Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp Water - 1 cup Coconut oil - 1 tsp For Filling A little Water Jaggery - 1 cup Grated fresh Coconut - 1 cup A few Cardamom pods Ghee Method: 1. In a wide bowl add All purpose flour, salt, turmeric powder and water gradually while knead it. Once dough is ready, add coconut oil, gently rub into the dough, its gonna make it little more softer and smoother, just knead it little. Keep it aside for 15 to 20 minutes. 2. Grind the grated fresh coconut without adding water. 3. For the filling: take a little water in a pot, and add jaggery to it and let it melt. After it melts, strain the jaggery syrup to remove impurities. 4. Add the coconut to the strained jaggery syrup. Pound some fresh cardamom and add it. Cook it till all the moisture evaporates and it reaches a thick consistency. Let it cool. 5. Take a little dough Flatten it, place some coconut filling in the center and seal it all sides. Flatten a little bit. 6. Dust enough all purpose flour, flatten it the Coconut puran poli, roll it gently, you can roll it in to medium thickness. 7.
