Welcome to the Getty Images Week in Review. Here’s what’s been happening with your favorite celebs this week. The wedding bells have rung and women are weeping. Ultimate bachelor George Clooney married his ladylove, Amal Alamuddin after a three-day weekend wedding in Venice, Italy. The two- time Oscar winning actor and the human-rights lawyer tied the knot in a private ceremony at a 16th-century palazzo as guests were ferried by private water taxi’s up Venice's Grand Canal. A-list celebrities reportedly attending included Matt Damon, Cindy Crawford and her husband Rande Gerber who was George’s best man, Emily Blunt and her husband John Kransinski and Bill Murray. It’s a girl! Celeb couple Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher welcomed the addition to their family on October 1st. Kunis & Kutcher, who have been romantically linked since 2012, have kept a low profile about the pregnancy and recent engagement. No word yet on the baby’s name. Congress and NCP release manifesto for upcoming Maharashtra polls

Mumbai, Oct 02 (ANI): Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) released its manifesto for the state assembly elections on Thursday. Present during the event was also Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan among other party leaders. Same day also witnessed manifesto release by their ex-ally Nationalist Congress Party (NCP). The party attempted to woo farmers, youths and other sections of the society in their election manifesto for the upcoming October 15 Maharashtra assembly polls. Dhaka, Oct 01 (ANI): Devotees in Bangladesh marked religious festival of Durga Puja on Wednesday with pageantry by visiting temples and community pandals. Devotees thronged decorated pandals, temporary platforms, where idol of Hindu goddess Durga is installed and sought her blessings. Men were seen playing drums in front of the idol. In Hindu mythology, Durga symbolises power and the triumph of good over evil. Hindus believe that the goddess makes her annual visit to the world and the festivities are meant to welcome her. Sabudana Khichidi Ingredients Sabudana or Sago - 1 cup (Soaked in a water for an hour) Onion - 1 chopped Potato - 1 cut into pieces A few Green peas Green chilli - 1 chopped Salt to taste A few Coriander leaves Fresh grated Coconut Ghee - 1 tbsp Cumin seeds - 1 tsp A pinch of Asafoetida powder Sugar - 1 tsp Oil - 2 tbsp Method: 1. Soak the Sabudana in a water for an hour. 2. Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds, onion, green chilli, asofoetida, potato and green peas. 3. Add a little water to it and let it cook. Add some salt and a little sugar. 4. Once it cooked, add the soaked sago. 5. Add grated coconut, ghee, coriander leaves and mix it well. Rajnath Singh, Uma Bharti participate in Gomti River cleanliness drive

Lucknow, Sept 30 (ANI): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, and Water Resources Minister, Uma Bharti, participated in a cleanliness drive of drying and polluted Gomti River in Lucknow on Tuesday. The ministers said that all the required attempts will be ensured to rejuvenate the water body. Singh said that countries with dying rivers cannot develop and cited the example of development of London after the rejuvenation of Thames River. Meanwhile, Bharti said that the Gomti River will be rejuvenated in the line of Sabarmati River in Gujarat.
