New Delhi, Jan 27 (ANI): After attending the Empowered Group of Ministers (EGoM) meet on Monday, Law Minister Kapil Sibal announced that the decision says that a maximum spectrum usage charge (SUC) for 900-1800 MHz will be 5 per cent. He further said that the decision is not for the loss and gain of any operator. Cabinet approves BWA spectrum refund to BSNL and MTNL

New Delhi, Jan 10 (ANI): The Cabinet approved a proposal to refund state-run telecom companies for surrender of broadband wireless access (BWA) spectrum. The Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and the Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) did not take part in the 2010 spectrum auction. Both the BSNL and the MTNL surrendered their spectrum and sought refunds of payments made. PM urges political parties to make best use of Parliament's short winter session
