Govt submits the list of black money account holders to SC

New Delhi, Oct 29 (ANI): The Government of India submitted the list of all black money account holders to the Supreme Court on Wednesday as directed. Attorney General of India Mukul Rohatgi said that the government has submitted a list of around 627 names who have their accounts in HSBC bank. He added that all assessments have to be completed by 31st March 2015. The sealed covers will be opened by SIT which will proceed according to law after opening the seals. Oct 29, 2014

New Delhi, Oct 28 (ANI): Shortly after the Supreme Court asked the government to reveal all the names of Indians holding illegal bank accounts abroad by Wednesday, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said that the government has no hesitation in submitting the names and would do so tomorrow. Jaitley also added that the Centre is not interested in protecting anybody. Sonipat, Oct 26 (ANI): Burglars robbed a bank in Sonipat after digging a tunnel, said a senior police officer on Tuesday. Robbers broke into the locker room of a branch of state-run Punjab National Bank by digging a 100-feet long tunnel from a nearby unoccupied decaying house. Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rajiv Deshwal, said teams had been formed to investigate the crime after registering the First Information Report (FIR). New Delhi/ Chennai, Oct 27 (ANI): Reactions poured in after Centre on Monday revealed the names of three bank account holders in the black money case to the Supreme Court. BJP leader Sambit Patra said that it is a historic day and the government has started the process of disclosure of names. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the investigations should start against the three names disclosed by the Centre. CPI leader Atul Anjan said that the SC wont be satisfied with the three names the Centre has revealed and the government should reveal the names of all those who are account holders in Swiss bank. New Delhi/ Mumbai, Oct 27 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Monday as Centre will be submitting fresh affidavit in Supreme Court on black money. According to the reports, the Central government will also disclose the names of three black money account holders to the Supreme Court. Reacting on the black money issue, BJP leader Nalin Kohli said the government's action shows that they are serious about black money unlike the UPA government. Congress leader Rashid Alvi said that the government should reveal the names of all those who have bank accounts abroad and not try to shield anyone.
