Politicos lash out at BJP, say the party doesn't intend to bring back black money

New Delhi, Oct 22 (ANI): Congress leader Rashid Alvi on Wednesday said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is faking that it is serious about bringing black money, allegedly stashed in foreign bank accounts, back into the country. Meanwhile, NCP leader Majid Memon said that BJP is solely acting to Supreme Court's order and labeling it as its stance. However, BJP leader Subramanian Swamy, said the party has always maintained that having money illegally abroad is a betrayal to the country and those who are traitors, their names should be exposed. Black money row: Sambit Patra terms non-disclosure of names as 'technical issue'

New Delhi, Oct 18 (ANI): BJP leader Sambit Patra on Saturday termed the non-disclosure of names of persons having money stashed away in safe havens abroad as a 'technical issue'. While retorting back at Anna Hazare's letter to the Prime Minister, Patra said that BJP respects Anna Hazare and the party is doing its best to bring back the black money. He added that government's intention should not be doubted over the technical issue of non-disclosure of names in the black money case. New Delhi, Oct 17 (ANI): Trading at the Bombay Stock Exchange today closed 109.19 points up to stand at 26,108.53. At the National Stock Exchange the Nifty closed 31.50 points up to stand at 7,779.70. EMAMI LTD and ANDHRA BANK were among the top gainers of Group A with an increase of 6.96% and 6.04% along with Edelweiss Financial Services Ltd and NCC with an increase of 5.71% and 5.29% respectively, while the top losers of Group A include CMC and ATUL with a decrease of 15.07% and 11.02% along with HCLTECH and TCS with a decrease of 9.06% and 8.93% at the close of the markets. The Auto sector is up 120.30 points at 17,021.25 while the banking sector is up 437.47 points at 18,240.22 and the reality sector is up 13.60 points at 1,429.64.The Indian currency is up 0.49% at Rs 61.53 per dollar.
