New Delhi, Feb March 02 (ANI): Politicos reacted on Monday after by Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed in his controversial statement regarding the elections, praised the security forces for the successful conducting of polls in the state. Minister of State for Minority Affairs Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that if anyone should be credited for successful polls in JandK, then it has to be the people of JandK. He had said that "Pakistan, Hurriyat and militants allowed conducive atmosphere for assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir." JandK National Panthers Party Chief Bhim Singh slammed the new state CM and said that Syeed is not at all dependable. Omar had earlier come down heavily on newly elected Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed for stating that the Hurriyat, Pakistan and militants had allowed a conducive atmosphere for the recent assembly polls in the state. A number of snow sports like skiing, sledging, tug of war and snow man building are on offer for tourists at the carnival. During winters, holidaying crowd from the plains of India and other parts of the country prefer to horde northern states of India to experience snowfall. Police bust fake currency and drug racket in Kashmir

Poonch, March 01 (ANI): Police busted a drug and fake currency racket in Jammu and Kashmir. According to the sub divisional police officer, Mendhar, Surinder Kumar Chowdhary, police were getting inputs about circulation of fake currency. Several check-points were set up to inspect passers-by. Chowdhary said police found five suspicious men sitting in an SUV as they did not respond to police queries properly. Police recovered rupees 1,26,000 of fake currency and 1,100 grams of heroin. Their interrogation led to the arrest of one more person. Police are on the look-out for their accomplices.
