Authorities baffled by mysterious death of fish in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur, Jan 18 (ANI): Senior district officials and members of Pollution Department have rushed to Gorakhpur after thousands of fish were found dead in Rapti River. Officials have warned villagers not to take and eat fish as the exact cause of the death is not yet known. There was a mad rush of villagers to catch fish once the news spread. A senior district official, Ranjan Kumar, said they were probing the mysterious death of fish. Dr. Ranjana Tripathi of the pollution department said that the initial findings pointed towards toxicity in the river water. Local municipal authorities have also visited the spot and are in the process of cleaning the river with some chemicals. Jan 18, 2015

New Delhi, Jan 17 (ANI): A new study has recently provided a deeper insight into how filthy mobile phones are that people use in their daily life. The study revealed just how much bacteria is on the phone and it's pretty gross, an online portal reported. Bacteria use all sorts of things as vectors in order to transmit insects, water, food, coughs and sneezes, or sexual contact. Masala Idli

Masala Idli Ingredients Idli - 5 to 6 cut into pieces Oil Onion - 2 chopped Tomato - 3 chopped Ginger & garlic paste - 1/2 tsp Green chilli - 1 cut up A few Curry leaves A few Coriander leaves Salt to taste Sambar powder - 1 to 2 tsp Coriander powder - 1 tsp Cinnamon, cloves Water Method: 1. First step take a wide non-stick pan add oil, Idli and shallow fry it on low flames, untill it turns light golden color. 2. Next step we will make masala, Take a deep pan, add oil, Cinnamon, cloves, onion, Green chilli & sauté it. 3. Once onion turns transparent add Ginger & garlic paste, Tomato, salt, Sambar powder, Coriander powder and mix it. Just add a little water to it. Add the Curry leaves and mix it. 4. Idli pieces are now toasted. Transfer the toasted Idli pieces into the masala and gently mix it. Idli has to absorb the masala. 5. Turn off the stove add a ghee and mix it. Masala Idli is ready to eat now. Mayawati demands CBI investigation over dead bodies in Ganges

Lucknow, Jan 15 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Thursday demanded a CBI investigation over the incident of dead bodies being found in the River Ganges in Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. She further stated that the Samajwadi Party had failed to maintain the law and order situation in the state. The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo also launched her book 'A Travelogue of My Struggle-ridden Life and BSP Movement' to mark her 55th Birthday. Over a hundred bodies were recovered from the river Ganges in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao district, earlier on Wednesday.
