Soya Masala Dry Ingredients Soya chunks - 1 cup Cumin powder - 1 tsp Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp Ginger & garlic paste - 1 tsp A few Curry leaves Onion - 1 finely chopped Tomato - 1 chopped Red Chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder - 1 tsp Salt to taste Water Oil - 2 tbsp To Grind Grated Coconut - 1 1/2 tbsp Green chilli - 1 Pepper - 1/2 tsp Fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp A few cloves of Garlic Method: 1. Soak soya chunks in hot water for 30 minutes. Squeeze out the excess water and keep it aside. 2. In a wide pan, add oil, cumin powder, cumin seeds, ginger - garlic paste, curry leaves, onion and sauté it for a few minutes. 3. Once the onions turn golden brown add tomato, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, salt and sauté it for a few minutes. 4. Once tomato turns mushy, add soya chunks and mix it well. 5. Grind the grated coconut, garlic, pepper, fennel seeds and green chilli into a coarse mixture. 6. Add the ground mixture to the soya masala and keep stirring till all the excess moisture has been absorbed. 7. Add very little water, cook for 2-3 minutes and blend the masala well. 8. Soya Masala Dry is ready. Bhopal, Feb 18 (ANI): Members of the Youth Congress staged a protest against the Vyapam scam in Bhopal on Wednesday. Protesters shouted anti-government slogans and police used water cannons to disperse the agitated crowd and manhandled the protesters. Congress party is against the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan holding his post after the scam came to light and continuously demanding his resignation. Gandhinagar, Feb 18 (ANI): The Deputy Inspector General of Indian Coast Guard, BK Loshali, on Wednesday clarified the controversy over his statement that he ordered to blow up suspected Pak boat. Loshali said that he was not directly in-charge of the operation and all instructions came from the Commander Coastguard. Shimla, Feb 17 (ANI): Students and teachers faced difficulties as schools in Himachal Pradesh were covered with snow. Schools in Narkanda town in Shimla city received heavy snowfall, blanketing schools in the region. Due to this, students are unable to study inside their classes because of intense cold condition as there is no facility of heater made by the school authorities. The mid-day meal workers were also facing problems making food as there was no water in the taps. Some workers were also melting snow for cooking purposes. Crispy Baby corn Fritters Ingredients Boiled Baby corn - 2 packets Chilli powder - 3 tsp Salt to taste Lemon - 1/2 Bread crumbs - 2 cups All purpose flour (or) Maida - 1 cup Water Oil for frying Method: 1. Boil babycorn in water by adding little salt. Let it cool down and then cut it vertically. 2. Take the babycorn in a bowl. Add salt, chilli powder, lemon juice and gently mix it. Keep aside. 3. To make the batter -mix all purpose flour (or) maida, salt, chilli powder and gradually add water till you get the right consistency.The batter shouldn't be too runny, it should coat the boiled babycorn. 4. Heat oil in a kadai for deep frying. 5. Dip baby corn pieces in the batter, roll them in bread crumbs and deep fry it on medium flame, until it turns golden brown colour. 6. Serve it hot with Tomato ketchup (or) mayonnaise.
