Pakistan, Sep 26 (ANI): Pakistan on Friday conducted a successful test fire of short range surface to surface missile Hatf IX (NASR). NASR, with a range of 60 kilometres and in-flight manoeuvre capability is a quick response system, with shoot and scoot attributes. It contributes to the full spectrum deterrence against the prevailing threat spectrum. According to press release from the ISPR, the test fire was conducted with successive launches of 4 missiles from a state of the art Multi Tube Launcher with Salvo Mode. New Delhi, Sep 22 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Monday asked Anand Grover, special public prosecutor in the 2G spectrum allocation case, to assist it after Centre for Public Interest Litigation (CPIL) refused naming the whistleblower who had furnished the guest book at the residence of CBI Chief Ranjit Sinha. Earlier, Prashant Bhushan had urged the SC to withdraw order disclosing whistleblower's name in the case. New Delhi, Sept 05 (ANI): CBI director Ranjit Sinha, on Friday filed a case of perjury against a non-governmental organisation, Centre for Public Interest Litigation (CPIL), for making false allegations against him. Petitioner Kamini Jaiswal, appearing for CPIL, filed two affidavits against Sinha over interference in the Aircel-Marxis deal, a branch spurting out of the investigation in the 2G spectrum allocation scam and coal block allocations. SC refuses to restrain media on CBI chief's request

New Delhi, Sep 04 (ANI): The Supreme Court on Thursday turned down CBI Director Ranjit Sinha's plea to restrain media from reporting on the 2G spectrum allocation case. The apex court said that it will take up application filed by advocate Prashant Bhushan to keep Sinha away from 2G case on September 8.
