He made his debut as a film producer with 'Lagaan', which turned out to be a major critical and commercial success and was also nomination for Best Foreign Language Film at the 74th Academy Awards. Aamir made his directorial debut with 'Taare Zameen Par', this film got crictical acclaim everywhere and Aamir was applauded for his directing skills. In 2008, Aamir displayed a great six pack in 'Ghajini' which became a huge hit. Though nominated many times for various awards, Aamir does not attend any award ceremony as he feels that Indian film awards lack credibility. New Delhi, Oct 24 (ANI): There are different ways to promote a film and superstar Aamir Khan, known for innovative promotional strategies, plans to pitch for Dhoom 3 by using the music of the movie as his caller tune. A source close to the actor says, "Aamir is keen to use the music as his caller tune. He usually does not keep any caller tune. However, his excitement over the songs of Dhoom 3 is very high. He is keen to share the music with everyone who reaches out to him and hence the idea of using it as a caller tune." Oct 24, 2013
