Govt's priority to save criminals till end: RSS on Ordinance to protect convicted leaders

New Delhi, Sep 25 (ANI): After the Union Cabinet on Tuesday, negating a Supreme Court ruling, cleared an ordinance that will protect convicted MPs and MLAs from immediate disqualification, RSS spokesman Ram Madhav said all political parties want criminal out of politics but Governments priority is to save criminals till the end. The union cabinet approved the ordinance which will negate an order of the Supreme Court that disqualified convicted MPs and MLAs immediately even if their appeal is pending in a higher court. The ordinance is set to be signed into law by the President within a couple of days. Sep 25, 2013
