Himachal Pradesh EC appoints first ever voter as its brand ambassador

Kinnaur, April 11 (ANI): The State Election Commission in Kinnaur district of Himachal Pradesh appointed the 97-year- old first ever voter of the free Indian democracy, Shyam Saran Negi, as its brand ambassador for the poll campaign in the tribal region. Assistant Electoral Officer, Prashant Deshta, said that the State Election Commission has appointed Saran as its brand ambassador in order to sensitize voters in the area. Shyam Saran, who is 97 years of age, views the new changes and developments in the country as a positive mark and feels bad about the environmental degradation, deforestation and corruption in the country. Bukhari brothers involve in 'war of words' over Sonia-Imam meet, Politicos react

New Delhi, April 06 (ANI): Politicos reacted in different ways after Syed Ahmed Bukhari's brother Yahya Bukhari attacked Imam's decision to endorse Congress party. BJP Vice-President Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi said that the party doesn't want to involve in matters of Bukhari brothers and that Congress and its associated parties are all connected with riots. BJP leader Shyam Jaju said that Congress party has used Imam of Jama Masjid before also but the influence is not there now and that people are not with them. BJP lashes out at AAP over expulsion of Ashwini Upadhyay

New Delhi, April 06 (ANI): After Aam Aadmi Party expelled its founding member Ashwini Upadhyay for his ‘anti-party activities’ on Sunday, BJP condemned the action and said that this is nothing new for the party. Shyam Jaju said that many leaders diverted their way from the party and hitting out at Arvind Kejriwal, said that the person who cannot give justice to his associates, how will he do the same to the people of the country.
