Disabled students demand equality from PM Modi on Teachers Day

Bhopal / Ahemdabad / Nagpur, Sep 05 (ANI): Visually impaired students in Gujarat on Teachers' Day demanded that Prime Minister Narendra Modi should ensure equal social treatment and infrastructure so that disabled also get a chance to continue their education. The city got a talking ATM and blind friendly bank and cafeteria. Meanwhile, another student Shailesh said visually impaired students like him faced social discrimination. Students in Madhya Pradesh said they were excited to interact with the PM for the first time on Teacher's Day. A student, Neha Pandey, said she would urge the PM to solve issues like unemployment and poor sanitation in Bhopal. Officials rescue leopard from well in Nagpur

Nagpur, Aug 30 (ANI): A young leopard was rescued from an open farm well adjoining Mansinghdeo Wildlife Sanctuary near Khapa city in Maharashtra. The leopard is suspected to have fallen in the well while chasing its prey and was found struggling to float in the water. The forest guard and senior forest officials reached the site upon receiving the information from the field owner. The officials put a cot inside the well for the animal to cling on, which was then brought out with the help of a rope. New Delhi/Nagpur /Leh, Aug 18 (ANI): The Indian government as well as Muslim clerics on Monday reacted sharply to Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit's invitation to Kashmiri separatist leaders for talks in New Delhi. The controversy comes ahead of India-Pakistan secretary-level talks scheduled to be held on August 25 in Islamabad. The talks between separatist leaders and Basit will take place on August 18-19.
