New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): AAP leaders on Monday held a meeting at AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal's residence in Kaushambi to discuss the issue of BJP's casteist advertisement. AAP leader Sanjay Singh said that the meeting was held to discuss further action over the advertisement and added that the party will file a complaint with Election Commission in this regard. He further raised the issue of Kiran Bedi's campaign manager Narendra Tandon's resignation and said that if Tandon, who has been a loyalist of BJP since long, could not work under Bedi how she can lead the people of Delhi. New Delhi/ Kaushambi, Feb 02 (ANI): AAP slammed BJP's chief ministerial candidate for Delhi, Kiran Bedi after her poll campaign in-charge Narendra Tandon resigned on Monday. AAP said that if the party leaders cannot handle Bedi for a few days, there is no way that the national capital can tolerate her governance. Meanwhile, BJP Spokesperson Harish Khurana refuted claims and said that Tandon has this habit of resigning on every issue and that there is nothing t o worry over the same. He said that Tandon has been part of the campaign committee which is headed by Anil Jain and that he was given the additional responsibility of managing Bedi's campaign soon after her induction into the party. New Delhi, Feb 02 (ANI): In a big jolt to BJP just five days ahead of Delhi Assembly Elections, BJP state executive member and Kiran Bedi's election campaign in-charge Narendra Tandon resigned from the party on Monday. The reasons for Tandon's resignation are yet to be known. Tandon, in his resignation letter to BJP President Amit Shah, said that he “could not tolerate” the way Bedi gave instructions to party workers. “Her (Kiran Bedi) aides used to insult me on every issue,” his letter stated. State governors and dignitaries mark 66th Republic Day in India

Bhopal/ Hyderabad/Raipur/ Vishakhapatnam/ Lucknow, Jan 26 (ANI): Indian states on Monday observed 66th Republic Day. Madhya Pradesh witnessed the parade by the police force as the state governor Ram Naresh Yadav saluted the force and greeted them on the Republic day. Uttar Pradesh being the largest Indian state witnessed various tableaux showcasing the culture and rich heritage and also the parade by the police personnel along with flypast. Meanwhile, a ceremonial parade was also held at the Eastern Naval Command parade ground in Vishakhapatnam. Vice Admiral Satish Soni, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Eastern Naval Command, took the salute. Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan also addressed the state on the occasion and saluted the police force. Chhattisgarh Governor Balram Das Tandon also saluted the parade and hoisted the national flag in Raipur. Republic Day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force on 26 January 1950 replacing the Government of India Act (1935) as the governing document of India.
