Violent clashes break out between BJP and JMM workers in Ranchi

Ranchi, Aug 23 (ANI): Violent clashes broke out between Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers in Ranchi on Saturday while the former were holding a protest against Labour and Employment Minister Narendra Tomar. Tomar was shown black flag by the JMM workers two days after the State Chief Minister Hemant Soren received jeer from the crowd at an event where he shared dais with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The protest resulted in a clash between the JMM and BJP workers injuring many of them. The JMM Workers alleged that they were protesting peacefully and that the BJP supporters attacked them on purpose. Aug 23, 2014

Foreign educated Indian doctors protest in New Delhi, demand employment

New Delhi, Aug 19 (ANI): Unemployed foreign educated Indian doctors took to streets in New Delhi on Tuesday to demand employment and scrapping of a screening test. The protesters gathered in large numbers and shouted slogans demanding justice. They alleged that the screening test they need to take in order to get a job is too difficult to pass. The protesters said that on one hand when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is calling students who have completed their studies abroad to India, the youth is sitting without jobs for past several years.
