Educational institutions in Bankura promote communal harmony

West Bengal, Aug 04 (ANI): India being the land of communal harmony houses many educational institutes which are built for conveying the age old ethos of the country. One such example can be found in Bamunbandh Prathamik vidyalay and Bamunbandh Netaji Vidyapith of Bankura, West Bengal. Here not only students belonging to different communities study together, but has also employed Hindu cooks who cook for these students. More than fifty students are being educated in this institute who besides learning the book knowledge also learn about communal harmony and brotherhood. Congress protests in Bangalore against Natwar Singh's book

Bangalore, Aug 03 (ANI): Congress party workers in Karnataka took to streets in Bangalore on Sunday to protest against the revelations of the book by Congress party chief Sonia Gandhi's confidant, Natwar Singh. In the autobiography "One Life is Not Enough", Singh paints an unflattering picture of the 67-year old Congress party head, labelling her as at-times "Machiavellian" leader who has been "coarsened" by politics. Srinagar, August 2 (ANI): A visit to the circus fair on Wednesday (July 30) reminded Kashmiris in Srinagar city of their peaceful past when such mega events were the order of the day, which now have become mere memories with the shadow of militancy looming large over the picturesque state. The circus was organised by circus group based in Ludhiana in northwestern Punjab state. Based in the heart of Srinagar city for the past two months, it has talented jugglers performing acrobats and comic artists who make children roll with laughter. Kashmir last saw the circuses till the mid 80s when people thronged them in large numbers and now, after almost three decades, it returned to the valley to entertain and thrill the crowds.
