Indian cricketer Virat Kohli scored an imperious century to steer India to an imposing 300 for seven against Pakistan in a frenzied atmosphere at the Adelaide Oval stadium. Miles away in Moradabad city, bowler Mohammed Shami's family was rejoiced with the victory. It was a proud moment for them as they watched Shami take four wickets against the rival Pakistan team. Nagpur, Feb 1 (ANI): A Blind Car Rally for visually-impaired citizens began with much gusto in Nagpur on Sunday. At the rally, though the vehicle was driven by regular drivers, they were being guided on directions by visually-impaired citizens using a navigator in Braille. Around 100 visually impaired navigators were selected to drive across pre- selected city circuit. The intense cold wave continued to tighten its grip, forcing people to stay indoors and sit around bonfires. Visibility in New Delhi was reduced due to thick blanket of fog and people sat around bonfires and drank hot tea to keep themselves warm. According to reports, Delhi recorded the second lowest temperature of the season with mercury dipping to 2 degrees Celsius. The attack took place on Tuesday when Taliban gunmen broke into a military-run high school attended by more than 1,100 people, many of them children of army personnel, and opened fire witnesses said. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed shock and appealed to schools in India to observe two minutes of silence marking solidarity in the wake of the disgusting attack.
