BJP suffers major setback in Delhi polls, says 'will accept mandate'

New Delhi, Feb 10 (ANI): With the latest trends suggesting a splendid win for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Delhi Assembly polls, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Tuesday said that it would accept the public mandate and prepare to sit in the opposition. Meanwhile, BJP's CM candidate Kiran Bedi also congratulated AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal and urged him to turn the capital into "a world class city". "Full marks to Arvind. Congratulations. Now take Delhi to the heights it belongs to. Make it a world class city," she tweeted. As per the latest trends, the AAP is inching closer to government formation in Delhi with the party leading in 65 seats. She said that she covered about 1500 kilometres for roadshows and worked with all her energy during the period of time she was given. Bedi further said that there is no nervousness in her about the results due tomorrow. She also said that she will go to her constituency to see the results. Bedi also said that the party workers have worked selflessly and that she is organizing a tea party for all of them in order to thank them. New Delhi, Feb 8 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Subramanian Swamy on Sunday alleged that Sunanda Pushkar's murder was carried out by men hired from Dubai and Pakistan, and added that former union minister and Congress leader Shashi Tharoor should undergo custodial interrogation in this case. Pushkar, who married Tharoor in 2010, had checked into The Leela Hotel in Chanakyapuri a day before her death on January 17, 2014. Tharoor's aides said the couple had checked into the luxury hotel because of renovation work at his New Delhi bungalow.
