Manchester City: Manuel Pellegrini hopes David Silva will be fit after international break

Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini said on Friday (6 November) that he hoped David Silva would be fit to return to action following the upcoming international break. Playmaker Silva suffered an ankle injury during Spains 4-0 victory over Luxembourg in October, joining a Manchester City injury list that now includes Sergio Aguero, Samir Nasri and Pablo Zabaleta. Pellegrini told reporters that despite showing some progress Silva would not be fit enough to feature in his sides match at Aston Villa on Sunday (8 November). Nov 6, 2015
