People throng cake show in Bengaluru ahead of Christmas

Bengaluru, Dec 22 (ANI): Christmas is just round the corner and the very mention of this festival automatically brings scrumptious cakes to everyone's minds. To add to the festive fervour, the annual cake show in Bengaluru city in Karnataka is back. 75-years-old, Ramachandran has been organising this festival for the last 40 years. The highlight this year is a 25x22 feet cake replica of the Indian parliament. A member of the organising team, Gautam, said it took three months for almost 30 people to finish this mega project. Like every year, this year too, the cake show is attracting thousands of visitors. On display at the cake show were 25 other models of cakes out of which five are wedding cakes while others have been modelled on amusement parks and various comic characters. Dec 22, 2014
