New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Sri Lankan Health Minister, Rajitha Senaratne, on Tuesday called on Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on the delegation’s visit to strengthen bilateral ties. Senaratne and Rijiju shook hands and exchanged gifts as they were accompanied by delegations of both sides in New Delhi. As per reports, Senaratne had met his Indian counterpart Jagat Prakash Nadda on Monday discussed issues regarding cooperation between the two neighbours in the health sector. The Sri Lankan delegation arrived in India on Sunday along with President Maithripala Sirisena, on his first state visit after he was elected by a landslide in January. Feb 17, 2015

Politicos react after RSS says Kiran Bedi was a mistake & blames her for Delhi loss

New Delhi, Feb 17 (ANI): Political leaders on Tuesday react as RSS mouthpiece ‘Panchjanya’ said that Kiran Bedi was a mistake. The fortnightly issue has raised questions on the choice of Bedi as the chief ministerial candidate for Delhi even as it pointed out how ignoring party workers may have cost BJP in the polls. BJP leader Manoj Tiwari said that the party has taken many decisions for the polls some of which failed to deliver. AAP leader Atishi Marlena said that Bedi has been used and that Delhi has voted against divisive & communal politics. Congress leaders said that the RSS will soon start claiming that presenting Narendra Modi for the prime ministerial post was also a mistake.
