Congress workers stage unique protest against inflation in Bhopal

Bhopal, Aug 10 (ANI): Congress party members held protest against skyrocketing prices of food and essential commodities in Bhopal city of Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. Party leader Sangita Sharma tied rakhis on the wrists of the male protesters. She said that every year on Rakshabandhan, sisters want to tie the most expensive rakhis on their brothers' wrists, and therefore she chose rakhis made of pricey vegetables. Raksha Bandhan is celebrated to symbolise the strong bond between the brothers and sisters and the love and affection shared between them and the Congress party workers staged a unique protest to bring light to severe inflation on the occasion.
