The much-awaited debut film of Nagarjuna's younger son Akhil Akkineni was launched on Valentine's Day. He will romance legendary Bollywood actor Dilip Kumar's granddaughter Sayesha Saigal in the film. The launch of Akhil's first film was held at the Shilpakala Vedhika in Hyderabad on 14 February. It was a starry event, which witnessed the presence of Nagrjuna, Amala, Naga Chaitanya, Venkatesh, VV Vinayak, Nithiin, Sayesha Saigal and many others. This movie is an romance and action-oriented film with high comic quotient. The movie is directed by VV Vinayak and produced by actor Nithiin. New Delhi, Feb 13 (ANI): Delhi Police Commissioner BS Bassi on Friday said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had summoned Bassi to his office and expressed deep concern and anguish over the incident of vandalisation of Holy Child Auxilium School in Vasant Vihar. He added that PM Modi has also asked speedily investigate the recent incidents of vandalism to ensure that the guilty are brought to book. UP professor's research on global warming included in US school syllabi

Gorakhpur, Feb 13 (ANI): Vice Chancellor of a university in Gorakhpur city of Uttar Pradesh has become the first person from the country to have his work on global warming included in the school syllabus in United States. An article by Vice Chancellor of Madan Mohan Malviya University of Technology, Professor Onkar Singh, has been included in a textbook titled 'Can Glacier and Ice Melt Be Reversed?' for students from class 10 to 12. This feat has got him a place in the Limca Book of Records, a catalogue of achievements made by Indians, at home and abroad, in diverse fields of human endeavour. The book covers various articles that talk about reasons causing global warming and the possible solutions to it. Speaking about global warming, Singh warns that the world would have to face dire consequences if immediate steps are not taken in this concern.
