Typhoon Megi: Several dead after 100mph winds batter Taiwan

At least four people were killed in Taiwan on 27 September as Typhoon Megi made landfall in the country, bringing fierce downpours and winds of up to 100mph (160kph). Hundreds were also injured as trees were knocked down and power supplies cut off. Sep 27, 2016

UK storms cause flash flooding and travel delays

Heavy downpours across the UK have caused flash flooding and disrupted commuters on 15 September. The video shows two cars trapped under a railway bridge at Ruslip Manor in London, and the weather has also caused a train to become derailed near Watford Junction after rainfall had caused a landslide. Leader of the Labour party Jermeny Corbyn hasnt had the easiest first year in charge. Hes had to deal with anti-Semitism rows, fallout from Brexit and most of his shadow cabinet resigning.
