Petrol price cut by 65p from midnight

New Delhi, Sept 30 (ANI): Petrol price has been slashed by 65 paise a litre effective from midnight tonight. Petrol will now be sold at Rs. 67.86 per litre from midnight in New Delhi. "Petrol prices have continued to show a downward trend. The current levels of international oil prices and INR-USD exchange rate warrant a decrease in selling price of petrol in the domestic market," said Indian Oil in a statement. Diesel prices are also likely to be cut by about Rs.1 per litre, the first reduction in rates in over five years. However, the cut will wait for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's return from the US.
