Death toll rises to 140 after Taliban gunmen disguised in army uniform attack base in Afghanistan

More than 140 Afghan soldiers were killed in a Taliban attack on a military base. The attackers were reportedly dressed in military uniforms to get past checkpoints.Most of the soldiers were killed when leaving a mosque or having lunch. The attackers were armed with rocket-propelled grenades and guns.About 70 foreign military advisers were stationed at the base in Mazar-e-Sharif.
